Estimate weight before building the haul
Shipping cost depends on weight, volume, route, and packaging. Shoes, denim, puffers, heavy hoodies, and boxed accessories can raise the final price quickly, so compare estimated weight before adding too many spreadsheet links.
Group items by priority
Separate must-ship items from optional finds. If the warehouse photos are weak, measurements are missing, or the seller changed the listing, keep that item out of the haul until it is confirmed.
Decide what packaging to keep
Shoe boxes and bulky packaging can increase shipping cost. If the box is not important, removing it may reduce volume. For fragile items, keep enough protection to avoid damage during international shipping.
Review the route before payment
Before paying for shipping, check route limits, delivery speed, insurance options, restricted categories, and declared value rules. A cheaper route is not always better if it creates customs or delivery risk.
